Hello there, welcome and thanks for your interest in our little restaurant!
We opened the doors to Puschka in 2001 and since then, we've been building up quite a reputation for good food and good service. Some kind soul described Puschka as "a hidden gem with a warm, welcoming atmosphere". And really, that's what we're all about.
We pride ourselves on using fresh produce, locally sourced where possible and cooked to order – everything on the menu is made in our little kitchen at Puschka. The produce comes fresh to our door each morning and it's on your plate that evening.
Put simply, we love cooking, we love eating and more importantly, we love the way food (and wine) brings friends and family together.

Who, what, where
Puschka is an award-winning independent restaurant on Rodney Street, birthplace of twice-prime minister of Great Britain, William Gladstone and home to the E Chambre Hardman trust, in the heart of Liverpool's historic Georgian quarter.
Very nearby are the Unity Theatre, the Everyman Theatre and the home of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonic Hall. Flanked by Liverpool's famous cathedrals, the restaurant is just a few minutes walk uptown from the city centre.
The Independent on Sunday described Puschka as being: "...extremely popular for its delicious food combined with excellent, unpretentious service. Although it is smart, anyone who eats her feels they can relax."

Fresh to our door each morning and on your plate that evening… Our scrumptious veggies are grown and supplied by the Pimbley family at Claremont Farm, Wirral. Looks at the size of Andy’s caullis and cabbages! That’s the result of good old Wirral soil and a heap of TLC from the Pimbley’s. Come summer, their asparagus is arguably the best in the region, their strawberries are local legends www.claremontfarm.co.uk

Our meat and game comes from master butcher Paul Hevey. Paul prides himself on sourcing local breeds from local farmers. So all of our meat is from either Lancashire or Cumbria. Only the very best… www.lakesspecialityfoods.co.uk

The flour we use in our puddings, cakes, breads and pastries is ground from wheat grown around the mill at Walkmill near Chester. www.walkmillflour.com
Exclusive Private Hire
Hire our restaurant dining room for a birthday celebration, small wedding/civil partnership or anniversary. Reflecting the Georgian Quarter’s creative atmosphere, the French-oak panelled dining room has an ever-changing art collection and is the ideal space for a get together of up to 44 people. We can also arrange musicians, party décor or multi-media appliances.
The restaurant is also available to use as an informal and interesting board / meeting room during the day.

In 2007 we were asked to cook up some grub for the bands, DJs and other VIPs at Creamfields over on the rather scenic Daresbury estate. It all went rather well and so we formed Puschka Outside; our boutique event catering company.
Our dear friends at Creamfields very kindly asked us back in 2008, then MTV wondered if we would mind awfully cooking for their chief exec's VIP party; the jolly nice folk at Bestival had a couple of world-famous rock stars that needed feeding up; how could we refuse? So now we offer boutique catering services to the great and the good at music festivals nationwide each summer.
